Established in 1963, at Guru Govind Singh Marg Charbagh Lucknow.
The institute has been shifted from Charbagh to Ayodhya road Lucknow in 1996.
Currently institute offers diploma in 11 different technical and non-technical women oriented courses.
The institute has been constructed under World Bank Scheme.
